ReCreate 2023: Support for creative freelancers, artists, makers and entrepreneurs – apply now!

Want to gain essential knowledge on how to grow your creative business? Are you an artist needing support with business essentials? Do you want to engage with other creative entrepreneurs, artists and makers in Wandsworth?

Creative United, in partnership with Wandsworth Council, is launching a second edition of their free Re:Create business support programme for creative freelancers, artists, makers, and entrepreneurs in Wandsworth. Based on the success of the previous edition, the Re:Create 2023 programme offers participants the chance to access free business support, with the ultimate goal of helping their creative business thrive and be resilient for the future. This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund

A total of 50 artists, makers and creative enterprises, who have been trading for a minimum of 12 months will be selected to receive 1-1 business mentoring from an expert in creative enterprise. Selected Re:Create participants as well as other creatives based in the borough of Wandsworth have free access to a suite of especially created e-learning resources for 12 months (until September 2024).

The programme is keen to support individuals who are currently under-represented in the creative and cultural sectors or experience marginalisation, such as people of colour, those with disabilities or members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Selected Re:Create 2023 programme participants will benefit from:

  • 3 hours of free tailored 1-1 mentoring support from business coaches in the creative industries.
  • A complimentary on-demand Re:Create Business Skills course with 4 modules. This includes lots of training videos, downloadable resources and quick quizzes, focused on subjects such as marketing, e-commerce, fundraising, business planning and networking.*
  • Being part of a growing network of creatives in the Wandsworth area.

Re:Create Business skills course is free for Wandsworth-based artists and creative enterprises. To receive your free access code, fill out our short online eligibility form on the course page. If you’re eligible, we’ll send you a code within 3 working days.
