Wandsworth is full of creative people working in a diverse range of careers.

Wandsworth Creatives is a series of short films that profile people working in creative careers in the borough of Wandsworth and explores their role, how they got there and what skills you need to succeed.

The series will cover a wide range of creative areas including: Film, Visual Art, Music, Dance, Architecture, Fashion and more and our exciting group of interviewees will pass on advice for next steps and inspire you to get creative.


Our tenth film features Richard Pitt, Learning and Participation Lead for Tavaziva Dance.

Wandsworth Creatives

Richard Pitt comes from a background in performance, choreography and rehearsal directing. He has worked as Event Coordinator for Notting Hill Carnival and more recently as programmer for Dance of the African Diaspora (DAD). He currently works as the Learning and Participation Lead for Tavaziva Dance.


Wandsworth Creatives is part of an ongoing strand of Creative Careers work in the borough and is funded by Creative Wandsworth Cultural Education Partnership. The aim of the films is to increase awareness of a variety of creative career pathways and highlight Wandsworth based workplaces and creative opportunities, inspiring the next generation of creatives.
