Biography / Artist statement
Nathalie originally created simple images of flowers in watercolour, then moved onto acrylics and oils. She takes most of her inspiration from the natural environment, this includes painting paths, trees and scenes on Wandsworth and Clapham Commons, and also oils seascapes depicting forever changing skies that reflect colours onto the sea. Even if we stand in the same place, our environment is always changing. Recently she has moved onto creating large collages of fish, recycling materials to create slightly surreal scenes with playful takes on perspective and scale. She takes commissions.
