Claudia Williams creates striking sets of drawings exploring a variety of topics that are important to her or reflecting on recent experiences. Reoccurring themes include the people in her life and her passion for music and knowledge of record labels, singers and bands. She often combines popular games with names of musicians, shop signs and song titles. At other times her focus is unexpected and related to something she has observed or encountered as she moves through her day. Claudia’s work was selected for Studio Voltaire’s prestigious Members Show in 2015. For Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2019 Claudia presented “London I’m Still In Love with You” as a live takeover of Johann Aren’s exhibition at Pump House Gallery, giving visitors the opportunity to experience her unique drawing process and unpredictable visual mash-ups.
