St Anne’s Church: Christmas Makers Market

There will be stalls full of local, handmade gifts, mulled wine and mince pies, a cake stall, a craft activity for all ages, carol singing and a visit from Father Christmas

Friends of Putney School of Art and Design: Christmas Fair

Come with friends and family and get some original art and Christmas gifts!
The arts and crafts stalls and display will include original prints, limited edition photographs, framed work, ceramics, original cards, created specially for this event, and children’s books. The cafe will be open all day.

Omnibus Theatre: Murder Ballad!

Celebrate Christmas with a murder. Hot Cousin will send an advent calendar of clues straight to your phone

In 1923 Agatha Christie perfected the murder mystery. In 2023 Hot Cousin will butcher it. 

Over the festive period, the audience will piece together an online collage of clues and become central characters in the story.

Furzedown Christmas light switch on

Celebrate the start of December with the Christmas light switch on in Furzedown. There will be choirs from local primary schools and an adult community choir, Christmas crafts, face painting, a Santa’s Grotto, and free mince pies and hot chocolate at St Alban’s Church.

Battersea Square Christmas light switch on: Celebrate the festive season with the Christmas light switch on in Battersea Square. The event will include music by St Mary’s Brass Band and singing by the choirs of St Mary’s Church, Westbridge School, and St John Bosco College. The event will also feature community stalls selling cakes and crafts. The festive lights will be officially switched on at 6.45pm. Tue 5 Dec, 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Battersea Square.

Balham Bedford Hill Christmas lights switch on: Join locals in Balham to watch the Christmas lights switch on. Entertainment will be provided by Riverside Radio and carol singers from local churches and schools. The festive lights will be officially switched on at 5pm. Wed 6 Dec, 1pm – 5.30pm. Tooting Church Lane Christmas light switch on and Christmas fair: Step into Christmas in the Yard… complete with a Christmas fair, the Tooting Christmas tree lights switch-on, live music, and performances. The festive lights will be officially switched on by the Mayor of Wandsworth at 4.30pm. Bellevue Road Christmas light switch on: Join locals in Bellevue Road to watch the switch on the festive lights. Carols will be sung by Trinity Road Chapel and Finton School.
