Vera De-Gernier is a self-taught, mixed media artist who has an eye for found objects. Vancouver, Canada is Vera's sweet home where she has her lovely family but Putney is where she lives, works, and creates mixed media artworks.

The Hotel Industry with its customer service was Vera's passion for many years. She surprised herself becoming a self-taught artist, never suspecting how much he would fall in love with art. Vera enjoys bringing to life forgotten, overlooked items or found objects.

Vera can never get bored and continues to explore various mediums and techniques, hoping the pleasure, experiment, and sense of adventure involved in the creative process shows up through the collection of artwork: paintings, collages, paper sculptures, mixed media mini bowls, and other home décor objects.
