Uki has been working on her skills as an painter for over a decade and developing her style, of both realistic likeness and uniquely distinctive interpretation. She likes to play on the confusion between personal experience and collective memory that have become corrupted and manipulated by time and distance into scenes that are both strikingly new and yet familiar.
