Award-winning designer Sam Ubhi is renowned for making unique and eye-catching accessories that elevate her work into modern art status. Based in Balham, she graduated in constructed textiles from Middlesex University, and successfully exhibited her work throughout the UK and New York. Its her ability to combine diverse materials in her tapestries that led to to apply the same principles in her jewellery and accessory designs.

This tapestry was made by re-cycling cotton & silk fabrics, dyed and torn into strips and then hand woven on a loom. The same materails were used to make the paper, then embedding the tapestry into the paper.
