When Mario was young he was always interested in painting and it was his dream to become a painter. Life took a different direction for him and since 1984 he has been running a small building firm. Now that he is retired it has given him the opportunity to take up painting again. He also attends art school twice a week which he enjoys immensely. He mainly paints landscapes with oil paints and he has painted a series of Venice landscapes.
