Lightbox Theatre is a registered charity that discovers stories that are untold or overlooked. We love connecting with real people’s lives and stories, and reaching new audiences. We believe that theatre has the power to create connection and give voice to people who feel unheard, which in turn reduces isolation and disadvantage. That’s why in addition to our professional shows we deliver workshops in local communities, mount shows in non-theatre spaces and give opportunities to people who might connect with our stories most to see our work for free and engage in our creative process. Lightbox Theatre was resident in Battersea from 2013-2018, from it's operations at the Katherine Low Settlement. Based now in Bristol, we are still committed to touring our shows to our much loved old stomping ground in Battersea.
