Artist Ken McCalla completed a Fine Arts B.A degree in 1984 at Central School of Art & Design. Ken then spent several years with OBAALA (Organisation of Black Arts Advancement & Learning Activities - the arts organisation which launched the pioneering Black Art Gallery in London from 1984.) Here he gain a highly valued community arts education.

Ken has produced art works in a wide range of mediums through the years, from theatre set designs to potato printing. Whatever tool used, he has looked to improve his skills in visual communication to open and excite the audience in ideas based on energies uniting. Drawing from his rich cultural heritage, his art work explores personal growth and celebrates harmony.
