Kate Bodell is a children’s writer and illustrator. She uses digital technology to produce simple, bold, bright illustrations which she herself describes as ‘colourfully minimalist’. Kate has self-published one picture book about a funny, funky fairy called ‘Bumbelinda’ and is currently selling her poetry book entitled ‘The Blanket Book’, a selection of little poems and illustrations designed to offer cosy comfort in troubling times. Kate is very serious about being silly and often her work has a light, humorous touch as well as important messages to help bring back hope and joy into modern living. She is currently writing her first chapter book for children aged 7-9.
