Biography / Artist statement

Isabel Losada is a British author who has lived in Battersea for 25 years. She is the author of 'The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment,' 'For Tibet, With Love,' 'The Battersea Park Road to Paradise', 'Sensation' and most in July 2020, 'The Joyful Environmentalist; How to Practise without Preaching'. She is known locally for having twice taken up residence in the window of Waterstones near Clapham Junction. She has also both contributed to and taken a turn in running the local Battersea Literature Festival. Her books combine humour with a serious look at their subject matters and are true-life accounts of her own experiences. Isabel has one daughter and is also a member of various local environmental groups.
