Amy Charuy-Hughes is a fashion graduate and eco-advocate. Amy spent her education and my early career working in London in the fashion industry. In 2018, after learning about The Ocean Cleanup, Amy's environmental, low-waste journey started. In 2020 Amy co-authored an environmental A-Z Guide 'Your Planet Needs You! An Everyday Guide to Saving the Earth', published by Virago Press.

Amy is particularly interested in the environmental impacts of the fashion and beauty industries, women’s menstrual products, litter pollution and waste management. Online she is known as Greener Together with Amy, her personal brand which focuses on sustainable living and environmental issues by spreading awareness through public speaking, workshops and activism.

Amy volunteers as Refill Wandsworth, part of Refill HQ a City to Sea, non-profit organisation campaigning to raise awareness of reusables. Together we can be greener, and it’s nice to have someone on that journey with you. Greener Together, with Amy - let’s do this together!
