Having graduated from Oxford Brookes University studying Fine art, and completing a masters in illustration at Kingston University, Alice is now based in London perusing a career as a freelance illustrator. Such academic pursuits before starting out on their own have given a strong foundation from which to launch into artistic endeavours. These include her ongoing columns for Delicious Magazine, Delicious Australia, Great British Food, Veggie Magazine and The Readers Digest. She also prepares pet portraits, illustrate children’s books, cookbooks and work with web designers to construct eye-catching graphics and products. She love working as a freelance artist as it gives her diverse projects and interesting people to work with on a daily basis. Whether its capturing an animal’s character in paint, mapping the United Kingdom’s eclectic produce, or making mouths water with pictures of delicious food, every page of my work carries the imprint of my creativity and diligence. I have exhibited my work at art fairs and galleries but love creating editorial work for magazines, opening the magazines to discover my paintings never grows old. I started out wanting to be a food stylist where I began working as an intern at many food magazines cooking and preparing food in the test kitchens and going to shoots.
