Artisan Space Private Preview

Friday 4 October, 6.30pm

Artisan Space welcomes all artists and local residents to enjoy an evening of great art and wine to mark the launch of the WAOH exhibition at this venue.

Free Family Workshops at Putney School of Art and Design

Sunday 6 and Sunday 13 October, 1pm-4pm
Venue 28: Putney School of Art and Design, Oxford Road, SW15 2LQ

Free pottery, drawing and printmaking workshops. Families welcome. No booking necessary.

Local artists exhibiting: 11am–5pm.

Café open for tea, coffee and cake: 11am–3pm.

Lots of Pots and Some Stories: A Storytelling Evening with Hannah Need

Friday 11th October doors open at 7.30pm for stories at 8pm
Venue 45: The Storyteller’s House, 137 Trentham Street, Southfields SW18 5DH

Join Hannah Need, the Storyteller of Southfields, for the premiere of this wonderful storytelling show. Get swept away as tales – some traditional, some with a twist – wrap around the beautiful ceramics of Sandrine Jarnet. Over the evening you will go on journeys of adventure with wise women, mythical beasts, and some clever tricks.

Free Schools Event

Venue 81: Dyson Gallery, Royal College of Art, 1 Hester Road, SW11 4AN

This year Wandsworth Artists Open House is inviting Wandsworth secondary school pupils to an exclusive event at the Royal College of Art on Friday 11thOctober. Pupils will be able to view and respond to the artwork exhibited in the Dyson Gallery by the 5 RCA bursary winners: Sam Cottington, Salma Nassef, Kelly Mosquera, Anna Woodward & Pietra Galli.

As well as viewing the art the pupils will have the chance to meet some of the artists and hear from them about their experiences, as well as take a tour of the RCA meeting other artists along the way.

Spaces at this free event are limited and booking is essential to book please email creativewandsworth@enablelc.org

Recommended for Key Stage 4 & 5 students studying Art.
